As a leader in the field of animal nutrition, Fisher Feeds is dedicated to continuous quality improvement and the
innovation and scientific development of broiler & roaster chicken diets.
With the guidance of nutrition experts, we have developed our industry leading FF program that concentrates on
exceeding all nutritional requirements and allowing the producer to maximize their flocks production potential.
Expander Processing
All Fisher Feeds go through an expansion process in manufacturing. Our expanded pellets show improved pellet
quality, nutrient digestibility and contain lower microbial (salmonella and other pathogenic microbes) levels than
the alternative.
Enzyme Enhanced
The feeding program also uses a unique enzyme product (applied post pelleting) that reduces feed costs while
consistently maintaining or increasing performance. It is non-GMO and contains no traces of antibiotic activity, it
is ideal for use in "natural" or antibiotic-free feeding programs. The primary enzymes work together to
maximize effectiveness of the feed and "enhance" the liberation of nutrients (primarily energy) within the
bird's digestive tract.
Additionally, to meet nutrient management needs a 3-phytate enzyme is available (applied post pelleting) to
efficiently break down phytate. Due to its superior bio-efficacy, the enzyme produces a maximum release of digestible
phosphorus and other phytate-bound nutrients. The animal utilizes more feed phosphorous, instead of it being lost
with the manure.
Chemical Reduction
Fisher Feeds is a strong believer in the use of a strategic long-term anticoccidial program involving a rotation
with Coccivac®-B vaccine, as coccidiosis remains one of the most expensive and common diseases of poultry
production. Looking at the vaccine as a preventative maintenance product eliminates the losses caused by reacting too
late when problems have already arisen in the barn. Using the vaccine is believed to extend the useful life of other
anticoccidial medications added to the feed, especially where resistance is a concern.
The experts at ,
leaders in the animal health industry have aided Fisher Feeds in the development, review and management of our
anticoccidial program.
For over 50 years, we have fed Fisher Feeds diets to our own flocks, now it is your turn to experience our
competitive advantage.
